*We haven’t seen anything new from new England press for awhile but, if you can wait until March, they’re releasing the extra-sized Tick #100 guest-starring Robert Kirkman’s Invincible!

*Not sure of the exact reason, but DC Comics is ending tiny Titans with issue #50 in March to make way for Art Baltazar and Franco’s new Superman family Adventures comic coming this Summer. (It’ll be previewed in DC’s all-ages totally free Comic book Day title this May!)!

*Looks like the guideline of three rings true. We just saw the passing of Joker-creator Jerry Robinson and now we mourn the passing of Captain America co-creator Joe Simon and longtime DC artist Eduardo Barreto. rest in peace gentlemen and thank you for sharing your talent with the world.

*Marvel will be releasing a 4-issue Avengers mini-series beginning in March, road To The Avengers, which will serve as a prequel to The Avengers film opening on may 4th!

*Following their comic-book adaptation of Kevin Smith’s unused Bionic man script, Dynamite home entertainment will publish a Bionic woman comic beginning in March!

IDW’s X-Files #1 Coming This June!

 

IDW has picked up The X-Files license and will be bringing us a new comic series this June! The new series will pick up after the events of the last theatrical movie, The X-Files: I want To Believe, from 2008!

Harlan Ellison and Paul Chadwick (Concrete) are teaming for a new original DC graphic novel 7 against Chaos coming later in 2013!

Tomb Raider is returning to comics. this time from Dark Horse!

Jim Starlin is the new writer on DC’s Stormwatch beginning in April with issue #19!

The DC nation block on cartoon Network will be overhauled in April with neither young Justice or green Lantern: The Animated series returning with new episodes. instead we will see the all-new teen Titans Go! and beware The Batman! also pertaining to cartoon Network,  a new reworked, CG version of Powerpuff Girls!

Don’t expect to see any a lot more star Wars films re-released to the theaters in 3D!

January’s 16-Part, weekly Avengers “No Surrender” Event

 

Marvel Comics launches the Avengers “No Surrender” a 16-Part, weekly event beginning in January’s Avengers #675 through April 2018’s Avengers #690. The series will be written jointly by Avengers scribe mark Waid, U.S.Avengers writer Al Ewing, and Uncanny Avengers writer Jim Zub, and will feature the line-ups of all three teams coming together under the banner of the core Avengers title!

It’s finally official! the most recent creative team on Marvel’s Daredevil, mark Waid and Chris Samnee, will be moving on to the new Black Widow series. No certain date has been revealed except sometime in early 2016!
